In return He made us practice faith, learn patience, and demonstrated how He can take your small idea to show you how truly big He is.
A Lesson in Patience
The planning for Patchwork Praise started in 2019. Meetings were held, volunteers were found, flyers were created as the first service was set for April 2020.
Those initial services that were planned were all cancelled during the initial unsure days of the 2020 pandemic.
We had originally planned to begin once things like Special Olympics started up again.

2020 went into 2021 and while life was beginning to go back to normal, there were still constant doubts as the landscape was ever changing. Even as life did return to the way it was pre-pandemic, the timing just wasn't right. There were times it even felt like the idea would never see fruition.
A Leap of Faith Tested
Ours is a story still being written. We dreamed small and God put off our plan till we adjusted our dreams to meet his vision.
Now we are going full steam ahead.
Final preparations for retrofitting the church to be accessible were completed. Noise reduction headphones along with noise makers were purchased.
A whole new contemporary worship was launched in our church on May 21.

But the job is not done.
More meetings.
More changes.
More faith.

We are still in the early stages. There have been early successes, but there are still challenges to overcome. We will continue to put our faith into God's plan and hands to see where He leads this ministry in the coming days, months, and years to come.
